Max31855 raspberry

I have played with the raspberry pi for a short while now. I have tried time and time again over the past three days and im fed up with it. I am very new to python and using the raspberry pi GPIO) So here is what I have done and tried.

V PWR Pin (have also tried since the board has a step down to V) GND - GND Pin 6. DO - SPIMISO Pin 21.
